How it works

Automist^® utilises “water-mist” which is like fog and is an age old tested and proven technology in maritime and industrial applications. Water-mist technology is an effective fire suppressant on both oil and electric fires. Amazing as we are always taught Oil and Water never go together in a fire. However due to the size of the water mist droplets which are 10 000 times smaller than a traditional sprinkler drop of water, this allows smothering of the fire by settling on top of the oil and causing steam which is a larger molecule than oxygen thereby pushing the oxygen away from the fire, which needs oxygen to survive. Amazing technology!!
